A-Jo Gallagher arranged for Tony to travel to Dancer’s Studio for three weekends for the students to take part in the Tony Bradford Intensive and learn choreography for the show. The dancers will perform in the show with dancers from Rhonda’s FooteWorks in Watertown New York and Tony’s New York City Company dancers.

The dancers will arrive in New York City Thursday and Friday. They will be rehearsing most of the day Friday.  These thirteen dancers will perform in three shows; Friday evening, Saturday matinee and Saturday evening. On Sunday they will take a ballet workshop class with Kat Wildish before returning home. Kat Wildish is featured on the cover of February 2014 Dance Teacher Magazine.

This unique and exciting opportunity stems from the studio owner, A-Jo Gallagher. A-Jo reached out to Tony and offered to have him travel to Clarion to teach his intensive. After several messages it was all figured out and Tony agreed to come to Clarion. A-Jo knew this would be a great opportunity for her students. The chance to perform in Alvin Ailey Theater is incredible, to be taught by well known, choreographers/instructors, and to experience the dance world in New York City.

Every weekend that Tony travels to Clarion, A-Jo has arranged different workshops for her studio to take. Tony is in the process of printing an Acrobatic Manual and Turns and Jumps Manual. The students love all of his classes.

A-Jo enjoys being able to offer her students the best opportunities in dance. Some of the dancers participating have never been to New York City, it is truly an opportunity that many dancers only dream of. A-Jo looks forward to inviting Tony and other well known choreographers/instructors to Dancer’s Studio to provide her students with the best opportunities possible.

(Best wishes to the Dancers on this great opportunity!!!!)
