Three Lady Cats Named 2013 Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State (12/08/13)

The Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PVCA) announced their 2013 Girls All-State Teams, on Sunday, December, 8th.

Among those named to the Class A squad were three members of the District Nine Champion, Clarion Area Lady Cats.

Senior Kyla Miles was named as a Right Side Hitter. Senior Bekah Nesbitt made the squad as an Outside Hitter and Junior, Katie Eustice was named as a Setter.

On the year, Miles had 58 aces, 376 kills and 196 digs. Nesbitt had 59 aces, 346 kills and 347 digs, while Eustice had 897 assists, 71 aces, 47 kills and 193 digs.

Joining the Clarion trio, on the Class A Team, from the KSAC, was Kari McQuiston, an Outside Hitter, from next door neighbor Keystone. District Nine Runner-Up, Elk County Catholic had two players named to the Squad: Senior, Middle Hitter, Carli Schneider  and Junior, Outside Hitter, Kristie Wehler.

District Nine Class AA Champion, Bradford had two players named. Making the AA Team were, Ali Rinfrette, a Senior Setter and Senior, Outside Hitter Haley Vinelli.
