Junior High Volleyball Splits With Cranberry (04/07/14)
The Clarion Area Junior High Volleyball Teams traveled to Cranberry, last Thursday Night, and came away splitting the matches.
The 7th Graders won 2-1. The first game saw the Lady Berries win by a close 25-22 score. The Lady Cats came back to win the next two. They won the second game by ten points 25-15. The rubber game of the match, saw Clarion win 25-19.
The Lady Cat 8th Graders didn’t fare as well as their 7th Grade counterparts, as they dropped their match 2-1.
Playing without an ailing Alexis Constantino, Clarion struggled somewhat. They lost the first game, by eleven points, 25-14. But they bounced back in game two, recording an eight point, 25-17 victory.
The Lady Berries came back in game three, winning 25-21, to seal the victory.
The Girls will play at Keystone, tomorrow (Tuesday, April 8) at 6:00 PM.
