Jon Kemmer Has Monster Night For JetHawks (07/23/14)

Clarion Area High School and Clarion Little League Alumnus, Jon Kemmer had a spectacular game on Tuesday night (July 22), for the Lancaster JetHawks, the Houston Astros’ A-Advanced Minor League Team, who defeated California League foe Modesto Nuts (Colorado Rockies affiliate), 11-8, completing a four-game sweep.

Kemmer, went 3 for 4, on the night. He hit two home runs, a two-run shot and a three-run blast. He also had an RBI single in the eighth inning, starting a five-run rally. Kemmer had 6 RBIs, on the night and scored three runs.

With the win, the JetHawks moved their season record to 60-42. They now have a one-game lead in the Southern Division.
