Second Annual Bobcat 5K Trail And Fun Run To Be Held Saturday, August 2nd (07/02/14)

Building off of the success of last year’s Bobcat 5K, the race is back and improved. “Championchip” Timing provided by Runners High will enhance timing and the posting of results this year.

Another change is the addition of the team challenge, enter up to 4 runners and use the average of your times and compete with other teams. Athletic teams and corporate teams sign up now to kick off your fall season. Sign up by JULY 4th to guarantee your race t-shirt. Sign up at www.ClarionBobcat5K.com.

Proceeds of the race benefit the Clarion Area Cross Country Boosters and PTO. We see this as a community event and invite families to come out to Clarion County Park to walk, run and race the trail 5k, home of the 2014 KSAC Cross Country Championships.

A one mile fun run will be held starting at 9AM with the 5K at 9:30. Families participating in YMCA soccer are encouraged to come out for the race then stay for soccer Saturday. C93 will provide entertainment for the runners.
