Lady Cats Soccer Team Downs Keystone (09/13/14)

The Clarion Area Lady Cats earned their 2nd consecutive victory with a 8-0 win over Keystone Thursday evening.

Maci Thornton and Bailey Heeter led the Clarion offense with 2 goals each. Heeter added 3 assists on the night as well. The Lady Cats added to their lead with goals by Courtney Schonbachler and Nicki Glenn.

Freshman, Gabby Weaver, scored the first goal of her high school career in the 2nd half.

Emily Powers had a solid night in goal for the Lady Cats with 8 saves, one of which was on a Keystone penalty kick. Powers also contributed on offense, scoring her first goal of the season.
