Ian Corbett D9Sports.com Co-Player Of The Week, Taylor Smith On Honor Roll (10/07/14)

Clarion Bobcat Ian Corbett was named D9Sports.com Co-Player of the Week, along with Dubois Gabe French, while Corbett’s Bobcat teammate, Taylor Smith made the Honor Roll for week six.

Corbett had 11 carries for 146 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 102 yards and 2 touchdowns on three receptions. Defensively he had two interceptions, six tackles and a sack, in leading the Cats to a 56-21 win over the Moniteau Warriors. Smith had an excellent game also, throwing for 4 touchdowns, while completing 5 of 8 passes for 142 yards.

French led the Beavers to a 70-22 win over Oil City, as he completed 12 of 16 passes for 408 yards and seven touchdowns. He also scored a touchdown on the ground. Two other Dubois players made the Honor Roll: Dante Dawson and Cole Kriner.

Other KSAC players to be named to the Honor Roll were: Bryce Altman – Keystone, Dakota Thomas – Punxsutawney and Kyle Glatt – St. Marys.

Other players from around the district named to the Honor Roll were: Kyle Langdon – Bradford, Erik Sellers – Clearfield, Hunter Johnson and Nick Stewart – Curwensville, James Lingenfelter and Dillon Mattis – Kane, Ben MacDonald – Ridgway and Adam Shunk – Smethport.
