Lady Cats Soccer Team Downs Ridgway For Ninth Win (10/10/14)

The Clarion Area Lady Cats defeated Ridgway Thursday evening 5-2.

Bailey Heeter and Nicki Glenn led Clarion’s scoring with 2 goals each. Maci Thornton had another strong offensive performance in the match with a goal and 3 assists.

Emily Powers kept the Ridgway attack in check with 19 saves in goal.

The win moves the Lady Cats to 9-6-1 for the season.

Ridgway fought hard through the entire match and had goals from Caitlin Viglione and Julie Alford. Clarion’s next game is a rematch at Ridgway Monday afternoon at 4pm.
