Volleyball Team Downs Venango Catholic (10/02/14)

The Clarion Area Lady Cats Varsity Volleyball Team downed Venango Catholic at home, tonight (October 2), in straight sets (25-6, 25-15, 25-7).

Anna McNamara and Katie Eustice had big nights for Clarion. McNamara had 18 service points (2 aces), 11 kills and six digs. Eustice had 10 service points (6 aces), 21 assists and a dig.

Keanna Over, Jenn Ochs and Johnna Rapp also had fine games. Over scored 9 service points (3 aces), while recording 8 kills and a dig. Ochs had 8 service points (4 aces), 7 kills and five digs and Rapp had 8 service points (3 aces).

Gloria Kroh had 1 service point, 2 kills, 5 assists and a dig. Anna Reed, Brooke Allen and Morgan Dehner each had a an ace. Reed and Allen also had one dig each. Sophie Wolf registered a kill.

The Lady Cats will travel to Redbank Valley on Tuesday (October 7).
