Clarion’s offense came alive in the third quarter outscoring their opponents 8-2 to take a 12-8 lead heading into the final quarter of play. Forest Area scored with a minute to play to tie the score at 14 and send the game into overtime. The Lady Cats then outscored the Lady Fires 4-2 in the extra frame to give them the victory.

Kaitlyn Constantino led the Lady Cats with 8 points, and scored all 4 of Clarion’s points in overtime. Ali Troese hit 2 big jump shots and finished with 4 points. Carly Best’s scrappy defense led to her 4 points and Lindsey Kemmer had a key basket inside the key and finished with 2 points.
