Clarion used a strong middle two quarters to come back after a slow

afternoon.

The Lady Cats found themselves down 9-2 three minutes into
the game. However, they rallied to outscore North Clarion 12-4 in
second and third quarters to take a three point lead heading into the
final frame thanks to a Wendy Beveridge 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Clarion then hung on for the 4 point victory.

“B” Game – Clarion 29 North Clarion 7

Clarion avenged an earlier season loss to the SheWolves with an impressive 29-7 victory in the first game Monday. Clarion jumped out to
a 13-3 lead at the half and never looked. It was probably the most complete game Clarion has played to date. They played great team defense and ran their offense to perfection. The young Cats were extremely unselfish and looked for their open teammates.

Kaitlyn Constantino led the offensive charge with 8 points. Carly Best
converted 3 baskets for 6 points. Cassie Acey, who played her best game
of the year, bucketed 5 points. Lindsey Kemmer finished with 4. Kyara
Girvan, Kaylie Lutz, and Ali Troese all finished with 2 points a piece.

Both teams are 6-4 for the season and will head to AC Valley on
Wednesday to take on a very talented Lady Falcon team.
