Dancer’s Studio Gives Back To Community (12/31/14)

More than just a Dance Studio!

Dancer’s studio in Clarion, PA provides Clarion and the surrounding area the opportunity to enjoy the art of dance in 2014.

Since A-Jo Gallagher purchased the Dancer’s Studio in 2010 she committed to volunteering, donating, and helping the community bring the arts alive in Clarion. A-Jo and her students have managed to do this once again in 2014.

At the Clarion Area Chamber Dinner in March 2014, A-Jo was the recipient of the “Business of the Year Award” for volunteering and community service.

Of course she made 2014 an even bigger year of giving back. A-Jo and her students have volunteered at many community events providing entertainment. To name just a few they performed for Clarion Rotary, Clarion Chamber ALF Pageant, ALF Parade, Clarion Senior Center, St. Joseph’s Rosary Society, Oil City Shubert Club, Clarion Chamber Christmas Parade, Golden Living, and Festival of Trees.

In addition to community performances A-Jo volunteers at the Clarion Chamber as the chair for the Miss ALF Pageant. Students of the studio made Christmas Cards for a 6 year old girl who has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. In June of 2014 A-Jo, Catherine Hayes (ballet instructor), and a group of students raised money for the Clarion Cancer Center. In 2014 Dancer’s Studio started a scholarship fund to help some of their students defray the cost of tuition.

“We love what we do and look forward to bringing the arts alive in in Clarion in 2015,” stated A-Jo Gallagher. Any organization who would like to schedule a performance please email info@dancers-studio-stars.com

Dancer’s Studio is also looking for an organization to donate to in June. Please email the studio for consideration.

“I would like to thank my students and their parents, staff, and the community for giving me these opportunities” stated A-Jo Gallagher.
