Bobcat Wrestlers Down Marion Center In Redbank Valley Tournament (1/15/15)

The Clarion Sports Zone has received the results of the Clarion Area High School Bobcat Wrestling Team’s match with Marion Center, on December 27, in the Redbank Valley Holiday Tournament.

The Bobcats defeated the Stingers 33-21, with each team winning four of the eight contested matches.

Clarion was led by Karlin Hiles’ pin at 3:08 of the 170lb bout.

Three Cats won by decision: Colton Rapp won 9-3 at 145, Prince Brooks posted a 9-6 win at 152 and Alexander Burkhart won, 7-2 his bout at 182.

Winning by forfeit for the Bobcats were: Alex Struble (106), Zach Sintobin (195) and Zack Huet (285).

The Bobcats are competing in the Mercer VFW Tournament this weekend (Friday and Saturday, January 16-17).
