Bobcat Junior High Wrestlers Win Two (02/08/15)

The Clarion Area Junior High Wrestlers won two matches on consecutive nights, last week. On Thursday (February 5th) the Bobcats traveled to Redbank Valley and came away with a 60-18 win and on Friday (January 6th) they followed with a victory over visiting Brockway, 55-15.

Against Redbank, Thomas Wurster (220) led the Cats with a fifty-five second pin.

The rest of the Bobcat wins came by way of forfeit. Those receiving the wins were: Zach Foust (75), Daniel Ketner (110), Frankie Weber (122), Sterling Conner (130), Clayton Adams (138), Bryce Klawuhn (155), Colt Stimmel (165), Seth Nellis (185) and Korbin Schill (210).

The Bobcats had wrestlers record falls against Brockway: Bryce Klawuhn (155) in 2:39, Colt Stimmel (165) in :56 Korbin Schill (185) in 1:15.

Frankie Weber (122) registered a 12-0 major decision, while Sterling Conner (130) won by a 7-3 score.

Receiving wins by forfeit, for Clarion were: Riley Slagle (75), Daniel Ketner (105), Clayton Adams (138), Benton Smith (210) and Thomas Wurster (250).
