Clarion MMA To Host Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Seminars By Jay Zeballos Saturday March 7th And Sunday March 8th (02/27/15)

March 7th and 8th Clarion Mixed Martial Arts (Clarion MMA) will host Jay Zeballos for two days of events. Jay is an instructor in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He will be flying in from Los Angeles, where he has spent 17 years training under Jean Jacques Machado, a legend in the sport of submission grappling.

On Saturday, March 7th, Jay will conduct a free seminar for youth jiu jitsu practitioners. The Clarion MMA boosters club has been hard at work fundraising for the event to allow everybody to participate at no cost to their families. The youth seminar is open to all youth grapplers, ages 5 – 17, of all skill levels. They will be learning effective and practical technique, but broken down at a speed accessible to our youth.

On Sunday, March 8th, Clarion MMA will host an in-house jiu jitsu tournament. This will give everybody the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and to test themselves against a fully resisting opponent. This event is open to spectators. Anybody that wants to see what happens at Clarion MMA is welcome to stop in and witness some of the practical applications of the skills our students develop. The tournament will run from 11am until about 2pm.

After the tournament Jay Zeballos will once again take the floor for another jiu jitsu seminar. The Sunday seminar will feature Jay’s proven championship techniques and fundamentals which have earned him many medals in championship events.. This is open to adults, teens, and experienced youth.
