Bobcats Down Venango Catholic 8-4 In KSAC Baseball Action (05/13/15)

The Clarion Area Baseball Team downed visiting Venango Catholic 8-4, on Monday (May 11th), at Clarion County Park.

The Bobcats scored two runs apiece in the first, fourth, fifth and sixth innings. The Vikings scored all four of their runs in the seventh. Each team had eight hits.

Max Lane was the winning pitcher for Clarion, going five innings. Lane struck out 10 and allowed four hits. Lane also had a hit and scored two runs.

Three players had triples for the Cats, Adrian Weber, Thomas Plummer and Derek Lauer. Weber also scored a run. Plummer had an RBI and scored once and Lauer also had a single, two RBIs and a run scored. Cameron Craig had a hit and two RBIs, Caleb Wilson had a hit and an RBI and Luke Nellis singled and scored a run.

Kyle Patterson and Reed Anthony each scored a run.
