CCCB Downs Janney In Clarion Little League Softball Action (05/20/15)

Clarion County Community Bank trailed 8-3 heading to the top of the 6th and scored 6 runs, then held Janney at bay in the bottom of the inning for the 9-8 victory.

Kyara Girvan had three hits for CCCB. Jordan Best had a triple and Abby Simpson, Brooke Baughman and Ava Cherico each singled for the winners.Brooke Baughman also had a hit for CCCB in the game tonight.
Monica Heath, Sydney Simpson, and Brenna Campbell had 2 hits each for Janney with one of Campbell’s being a double. Kendall Dunn followed with a single.

Abby Simpson was the winning pitcher and pitched all 6 innings while striking out 12.

Constantino was tagged with the loss and struck out 10 in 6 innings of work.
