CAT QUOTES

Coach Dan Shofestall had this to say after his team’s victory: “Well, it’s always nice to win in the playoffs. We have a young team and everybody contributed tonight.

“The lower part of the order helped. They got on base, turned it over to the top of the order. We ran the bases well. We played great defense.

Sadie threw the ball well. Johnna Rapp was great behind the plate. The bench support was awesome.

“I’m just proud of this team and we’ll head for Smethport and play Clarion ball up there. This was the first playoff win in a few years. We’ve improved seven games this year, overall, from last year’s record.

We’re getting better. We’re getting better and I love this team. They’re good kids.
