Clarion Area Football Elementary Football Camp Teaches Fundamentals To Youth (06/25/15)

The 2015 Clarion Area Elementary Football Camp was held  Monday, June 15th through Wednesday, June 17th at the high school.

This year there were 18 elementary camp participants. The camp is in its third year and has grown every year. Players were taught stances for offensive and defensive positions as well as basic skills for those positions. At the end of each day, games of two hand touch football were organized. Each player was also given a camp shirt.

The camp director was Scott Miller. He was assisted by fellow varsity coaches Larry Wiser, Lee Weber, and Nate McClaine.

Varsity players that volunteered their time to help instruct the elementary players were Will Staub, Michael Bartley, Spencer Miller, Josh Kriebel, and Brendan Miller.
