Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer Team Notches First Win Of The Season (09/20/15)

(By Coach, Nicole Selker)

The Clarion-Limestone Lions Boys Soccer Team rallied back to beat the Keystone Panthers 2-1, at home, on Thursday, September 17th.

Both teams were evenly matched and battled hard. Keystone came out of the first half with a 1-0 lead, but C-L came out strong in the second half, controlling the ball in their offensive zone for the majority of that time.

Donovan Montgomery started the scoring off for the Lions, with a chip in from the right side, tying the game 1-1. The game remained tied with less then 3 minutes left, when Cam Craig scored the game winning goal, off an assist by Javier Delgado. This was the C-L Lions first victory after a difficult start to the season. The Lions will be back in action Tuesday, September 22nd at Redbank Valley.
