Coyotes Down Cranberry To Even Season Record (09/21/15)

(By Coyotes Coach Wally McClung)

The FNC Coyotes are now 2-2 after a great victory Saturday. The final score was 26-6 against Cranberry.

This week was truly an opportunity to have the entire team share the responsibilities.

On the defensive side of the ball, Emily Aites and Jake Eisenman both recovered fumbles for the second week in a row. Additionally, Noah Morrison had a great interception, which he returned for 42 yards. Combine that with the constant pressure applied by Scott Dunlap and company, and it’s easy to see why they say, “defense wins games.”

On the offensive side of the ball, Dawson Hotchkiss (2 TDs), Michael Schmader (1 TD), Jake Eisenman (1TD), and Brian Schill (2-pt conversion) all made it into the end zone. Top that off with the fact that, again, none of it would be possible without a great job by the rest of the team, and we can easily say that the entire team deserves the accolades this week.
