Lady Cats Volleyball Team Downs Keystone (09/13/15)

The Clarion Area Lady Cats Varsity Volleyball Team downed homestanding Keystone Lady Panthers, 3-1 , on Thursday (September 1oth).

The Lady Cats won an exciting game one, 27-25.

Game two was also close with the Lady Panthers winning by a score of 28-26.

Games three and four went to Clarion. The Cats were 25-7 victors, in game three and won the final game 25-17.

Olivia Burns led Clarion with a big match, offensively and defensively, with 19 points (4 aces), 15 kills and nine digs. Johnna Rapp had 14 points (3 aces), 8 digs and a kill.

Gloria Kroh had a big game, setting up her teammates, by dishing out thirty-two assists. Kroh also had 11 digs and two kills. Alexa Kriebel scored 10 points (2 aces) and also had 6 digs and three kills.

Anna Reed had a big defensive game with twenty digs. She also had 5 points and an assist. Maya Thornton scored 6 points and had sixteen kills. Alexis Constantino scored 4 points (1 ace) and had a dig. Sophie Wolf had five kills.

The Lady Cats, now 6-1 on the season, will travel to A-C Valley on Tuesday (September 15th).
