Bobcat JV Football Team Moves To 4-1 With Victory Over Dutch (10/28/15)

The Clarion Area Football Team downed the visiting St. Marys Flying Dutchmen, 28-0, on Monday (October 26th), to hike their record to 4-1.

Running back Korbin Schill had a big night, scoring three of the Bobcats four touchdowns.

With 7:41 left in the first quarter, Schill took a toss to the left, down the far sideline for a 10 yard score. The conversion failed and the Cats led 6-0.

Clarion increased the lead to 14-0 with 9:07 left in the half, when Schill took a toss to the right, down the far sideline for a 30 yard touchdown. He ran the conversion up the middle.

The Cats took to the air for their next score, with quarterback Traeson Douglas throwing to his left and hitting Cameron Hearst, who broke a tackle and ran it in for a 23 yard touchdown. The two-point conversion failed and the Bobcats led 20-0, with 2:19 left in the third quarter.

Clarion set the 28-0 final, with 3:05 left in the game, when Schill took a toss to the right side and ran down the near sideline for a 35 yard touchdown. Tyler Finefrock ran the two-point conversion up the middle.
