Bobcat Boys A-T Downs Union In Season Opener (01/23/16)

The Clarion Area Junior High Boys Basketball A-Team kicked off its season by downing the homestanding Union Golden Knights by a score of 35-18.

Clarion had 8 different scorers in the game that saw Union have one point after the first quarter. Gavin Brinkley lead the Bobcat charge with 12 points followed by Josh Craig with 6.

Clarion’s solid defense in the first quarter was able to lead to quick offense, and jumped out to a 14-1 lead.
Stewart led Union with 5 points.

The Bobcats will have their first home game on Tuesday against Cranberry.
