Lady Cats’ Basketball Banquet Held (04/04/16)

The 2015-16 Clarion Area Lady Cats Girls’ Basketball team was honored at their Team Banquet held Monday, April 4th,  at the high school.

Coaches for this year’s squad, which finished second in the KSAC North and advanced to the second round of the District Nine Class-A Playoffs, were: Head Coach Tracy Durish and Assistant/JV Coach Angela Niederriter.

Several players were recognized with special awards.Seniors Kelly Beveridge and Anna Reed were both given the Offensive Player Award. Senior Maddie Weaver received the Defensive Player Award and Gloria Kroh received the Team Rebounding Award.

This season’s players were: (Seniors) Jenna Beichner, Kelly Beveridge, Keanna Over, Maddison Weaver and Sophie Wolf; (Juniors) Gloria Kroh, and Chelsea Mason; (Sophomores) Alexis Constantino, Maya Thornton and Gabby Weaver; (Freshmen) Cassie Acey, Wendy Beveridge and Kaylie Lutz.
