Special Olympics Track And Field Day Held (05/28/16)

The Special Olympics of Clarion County held their 2016 Track and Field Day at Clarion University of Pennsylvania’s Memorial Stadium earlier this month.

Special Olympians and volunteers from around the area participated in this super event.

Tanya Brooks shared some great photos from this year’s activities.

Clarion County serves 350 athletes, both children and adults, with intellectual disabilities (mental retardation). Special Olympics’ success is possible only through the love and dedication of the many volunteers who understand all children and adults with intellectual disabilities have important contributions to make to society. But the need is still great. Come join the best!

Sports Offered: Aquatics, Volleyball, Bowling, Golf, Field Hockey,Athletics, Equestrian, Roller Skating, Bocce, Unified Bocce and Bowling
