(By Coach Wally McClung)

With the first day of practice being less than a month away, many of the FNC Coyote players and alumni took some time to attend the Pittsburgh Steelers Youth Football Camp this week at Slippery Rock.

This year’s list of Pittsburgh Steeler notables included former Steelers Charlie Batch (QB), Mike Schneck (Long Snapper), and Craig Wolfley (OL). That’s in addition to current players BJ Finney (OL), Arthur Moats (LB), Roosevelt Nix (RB), and Shamarko Thomas (DB).

Year after year, the Steelers put on a great program for the kids, teaching about proper technique, good sportsmanship, and the importance of going the extra mile. Now, as the FNC Coyotes prepare for the season, they look to capitalize on the time and knowledge these Steelers stars have given them.

For anyone still interested in joining the FNC Coyotes for this upcoming season, please inquire with the organization’s vice president, Cassie Harle at fnc.charle@gmail.com or at (814) 319-3736. The first practice will be during the final week of July, so there is still time.

(Thanks to Coach McClung for this article and to the Coyotes for the photo. Looking forward to a great season, Coyotes!!!!)
