Lady Cats Volleyball Team Wins Two More (09/22/16)

The Clarion Area Volleyball Team won two more contests.

On Tuesday (September 20th), the Cats downed the visiting Lady Falcons from A-C Valley 3-1 (25-18, 25-27, 25-16, 25-22). The Clarion Junior Varsity also won their match 2-0 (25-4, 25-11). And on Thursday (September 22nd), The Lady Cats Varsity downed homestanding Forest Area Fires, at West Forest, 3-0 (25-10, 25-14, 25-13). The Junior Varsity downed the Fires 2-0 (25-7, 25-14).

In the match with A-C Valley, Olivia Burns had 13 points, 12 digs and twenty-six kills. Gloria Kroh had 44 assists, 8 points, 8 digs and five kills. Maya Thornton had 9 points, 8 digs and sixteen kills.

Alexis Constantino had 12 points and seventeen digs. Sydney Kizer had six digs and Devon Quinn had six points.

In the JV victory, for the Lady Cats: Kaylie Lutz had 14 points (6 aces). Lexi Lauer had 7 points (4 aces), 4 kills and a block. Kaitlyn Constantino had five points.

Gloria Kroh had 27 assists and a kill in the match with Forest Area. Maya Thornton had nine points, Olivia Burns had 13 kills and an assist and Sydney Kiser had three kills.

The Lady Cats will host their 16th Annual Varsity Tournament on Saturday, September 24th.
