The Bobcats had some good efforts, but fell 22-6.

Moniteau scored one touchdown in the first quarter and converted the two-point conversion, for an 8-0 lead. Another Warrior touchdown, in the second quarter, moved the score to  14-0.

Then, at the 4:59 mark of the second, Bobcat quarterback Cal German hooked up with Colton Zacheral on a 70 yard scoring pass. The touchdown closed the gap to 14-6.

The Bobcats had a chance tighten the game more, or even tie it before the half. German threw a screen pass to Hunter Craddock, who took the ball for roughly 55 yards to the Warrior two yard line. But the Cats couldn’t take it in and the halftime score was still 14-6.

Moniteau scored once in the third. Number 28 ran the ball through the middle for a score, at 1:24 and then scored on the conversion to move the Warrior’s lead to 22-6.

Clarion had a good opportunity to score in the final stanza, when German connected with Ethan Burford, who ran a slant pattern, for a 32 yard gain, to the Warrior eight yard line. But the Cats couldn’t punch it in and the final was set at 22-6.

(Thanks to Bri Nellis and Kyara [it’s not Kiarra] Girvan for the fine photos. Great effort, Bobcats!!!!)
