Clarion opened the scoring in the first half when Alexa Kriebel played a beautiful pass to Forest Madison Mills who laced a shot past the Kane goalkeeper. The goal was Mills’ 21st of the season and gave the Lady Cats a 1-0 lead.

The score remained 1-0 until early in the second half when Kane found the back of the Clarion net for the equalizing goal. Both teams had scoring opportunities as the game went on, but neither were able to capitalize on their chances.

The Lady Cats increased their level of play through the overtime periods, but after 20 minutes, neither team managed to find the winning goal. Final score 1-1.

Special thanks to our outgoing seniors, Courtney Schonbachler, Forest Madison Mills, Hannah Phillips, and Jenna Omecinski. Their leadership on and off the field has been evident throughout the course of this season.
