The Lady Cats fell in straight sets, but played tough against  Triple-A Altoona. As has been the formula for success at Clarion for years, the Cats play a number of larger schools and highly ranked teams. This prepares them well for the playoffs.

Altoona won the first set 25-21, but Clarion was within 1 point at 21-22, before the Mountain Lions had a three-point run to close out the set. The second set saw the Clarion up 25-24, before falling. Several strong scoring runs by Altoona, led to their win in the third set.

The Clarion seniors had a strong night, with Kroh collecting 29 assists, 3 kills, 10 digs and 1 point and Burns contributing 21 kills, 11 digs and 2 points (1 ace).
