Basketball: Bobcats Fall To Lions (01/17/17)

Clarion Area fell to homestanding Clarion-Limestone 71-68, in KSAC North basketball action, on Friday night (January 6th).

The Cats were down 16-8 after the first quarter, 33-26 at the half and and 52-37 after three, before outscoring the Lions 31-19, in the final stanza, to set C-L’s final advantage at just three points.

Four Bobcats scored in double-figures. Ty Burford had 18 points, Cam Craig had 17, Ceventh Lynch-Skunda followed with 16 and Reed Anthony scored twelve. Austin Hummell contributed 3 points and Zak Bauer added two.

Dan Callen had 22 points for the Lions, with Ian Callen, Christian Smith and Sam Leadbetter adding 18, 12 and eleven respectively.
