Softball: Lady Cats Fall To Punxutawney In Season Opener (04/07/17)

The Clarion Area Lady Cats fell to homestanding Punxsutawney, in a close 2-0 game, on Monday (April 3rd).

Sadie Rudesyle had a big game, in the circle, striking out five and giving up just two unearned runs, in six innings of work. The Lady Chucks’ runs came in the third and fifth innings.

Rudesyle and teammate Lindsey Kemmer each had doubles for Clarion. Kemmer added a single. Cora Zerfoss and Alexis Constantino also contributed hits for Clarion.
