Golf Teams Compete In First KSAC Mega Matches (08/19/17)

The Clarion Area Golf Teams competed in their first KSAC Mega Matches of the 2017 season, this week. The Girls were at Foxburg on Thursday (August 17th) and the Boys were at Clarion Oaks on Friday (August 18th).

GIRLS

The Lady Cats finished in fifth place with a 192.

Kyleigh Craddock was the top Clarion finisher, recording a 58, while Phylicia Hockman and Maya Patterson each carded 67’s.

A-C Valley finished first at 151, led by medalist Allie Sherman who posted a forty-seven.

BOYS

Josh Craig finished in a third place tie, with a 43, five shots behind Clarion-Limestone’s Hayden Siegel, who shot a 38 to garner medalist honors. Siegel led the Lions to the team win at 234.

The Bobcats totaled 255 for a third place finish. Other Bobcat scores: Jackson Fox – 50, Cam Craig – 53, Lake Staub – 53, Login Dehner – 56 and Mitch Geiger 57.
