Tri City Thunder 14u Completes Successful Softball Season With Win In Punxy Tourney (08/08/17)

The Tri City Thunder 14U softball team concluded their 2017 season by capturing the

Punxsutawney Groundhog Little League softball tournament during the weekend of August 4-6.

The Thunder went went 5-0 over the weekend and defeated the Centre County Hailstorm 4-1 in the semifinals and the Punxsy Purranahs 6-3 in the finals.

In the 6 tournaments they participated in this summer, the Thunder had three second-place finishes and one first-place finish.

The team consists of players from Clarion, Cranberry, Titusville, Franklin, New Bethlehem, and the Warren areas.
