Both Junior High Girls Basketball Teams Win At Keystone (11/09/17)
(By Coach Chrissy Kriebel)
The Junior High Girls Basketball teams had great success at their first away game of the season. The “A” team got off to a great start with strong defense and impressive teamwork to defeat Keystone with a score of 33-18. Jordan Best used her athleticism and knowledge of the game to take away 13 points while Evelyn Lerch used her speed and work ethic to bring in a total of 10 points. Both Rebekah Ketner and Aryana Girvan closed with 4 points and Korrin Burns finished with 2 points. Coach Kriebel is continually impressed with her girls determination to be their best and to benefit the Clarion Basketball program for many years to come.
The “B” team used their strong defensive skills to take the W over the Keystone Panthers as well. With a score of 16-6, both Mckayla Kerle and Bri Pierce finished with 6 points and Adia Needham and Brianna Forrest added 2 points each. Coach Toth is ecstatic to see his athletes to continue to work together, push themselves, and strive to reach their goals.
Keep up the great work Lady Cats!
