Seven Seniors were honored during their last regular season appearance at home: Lane, Landfried, Adison Hockins, Javen Winkelman, Cesar Lopez Zach Hill and Sebastian Schweitzer.

C-L Coach, Nicole Selker was quoted by Steve Smail, in an article in Thursday’s (October 9) Jeffersonian Democrat: “Our offense is made up primarily of our senior group. We also have two seniors back on defense as well. These guys always play their hearts out every game and they’ll definitely be missed. We will have some big holes to fill next season, but I feel we have a lot of young guys who will step up and step into those roles.

“These guys wanted to go out and play well on senior night.

“Max runs things for us out on the field. He’s one of our captains and he leads us and keeps the guys rolling. When you have a good all-around player like that it makes every one else play at a different level.

“Jonah had three shots that he took where he went back around and made the play or they probably would have been goals. He’s a huge part of the win and when he’s in goal it’s a big part of team because of the way he plays defensively.”

The Lions played at Forest Area on Thursday (October 9). They finish regular season at Punxsutawney today (Saturday, October 11).
