Clarion Area Little League Baseball And Softball Championships To Be Held This Week (06/14/15)
The Clarion Area Little League Baseball and Softball Championships are scheduled for this week (Monday, June 15th through Saturday, June 20th).
The baseball regular season final standings and seedings are set, with the softball regular season final standings and seedings to be determined this week.
CLARION AREA LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL
Rotary won the regular season baseball championship with a 12 and 4 record, followed by Lions, who finished one game back at 11 and 5. SMI was third at 9 and 7. Delta finished in a tie for fourth place with identical 4 and 12 records.
Game one of the baseball playoffs will be on Monday featuring Delta versus Burns and Burns. That game is scheduled for 6:30 PM.
Then on Wednesday night, there will be a double-header. Wednesday’s first game, scheduled for 5:45 PM, will be a matchup between Rotary and the winner Monday’s game. The second game on Wednesday, scheduled for 7:45 PM, will have SMI facing Lions.
Wednesday night’s losing teams will play in the consolation game on Thursday, with that game scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM.
The Championship Game is scheduled for Friday night, at 6:30 PM.
Any rain-outs will be rescheduled for the next available open date (Tuesday, June 16th and Thursday, June 18th).
The All-Star Teams will be named on Friday, following the Championship Game.

CLARION AREA LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL
The Clarion Area Little League Softball Championship Tournament will be played on Saturday (June 20th).
The first game, with the Number 1 seed versus the Number 4 seed, is scheduled for 9:00 AM. Game two, scheduled for 11:00 AM will have the Number 2 and 3 seeds competing against each other.
The winners of those games will play for the Championship, at 1:30 PM.
Barring rainouts, the regular season final standings and Championship seedings should be determined by Thursday.
