Bobcat Boys Basketball Team Wins Two Out Of Three This Week (02/11/17)

The Clarion Bobcat Boys Basketball Team had a solid week, going 2-1.

The Cats lost to visiting Coudersport, 66-44, on Tuesday (February 7th). The Falcons led 17-12 after one, 35-20 at the half and 52-34 after three.

Cam Craig had 11 points for the Cats, while Austin Hummell had eight. Jared Green had 20 for Coudy.

On Wednesday (February 8th), the Cats traveled to North Clarion and came away with a 67-58 win. Clarion led 28-22 at the half and 50-37  after three.

Craig led Clarion with twenty-seven points. Ty Burford had 11 and Hummell had ten. Nathan Banner had twenty-two for the Wolves.

The Cats nearly reached the century mark, with a 98-44 win over the Forest Area Fires, at West Forest High School on Friday (February 10th).

Clarion led 23-11 after one, 52-22 at the half and 76-33 after three.

Craig led the Cats with sixteen points. Reed Anthony had eleven points. Ceventh Lynch-Skunda and Spencer Miller also scored in double-figures, with ten points each.

Four Bobcats just missed double figures, with Rhoades, Hummell, Burford and Nick Terwint each scoring nine points.

Seth Berlin led the Fires with thirty points.

The Cats are scheduled to travel to Venango Catholic on Monday (February 13th).
