Christian Simko And Jordan Best Named To KSAC 2021-2022 All-Conference Basketball Teams

The 2021-2022 Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Boys’ and Girls’ All-Conference Basketball Teams were announced on Monday, March 7th, with one Clarion Area player being named to each squad.

Senior Christian Simko was named to the Boys’ Second Team, while Jordan Best was named to the Girls’ Second Team.

Christian, a 6’1″ senior guard, scored 461 points (17.7 points per game) this season.

He pulled down 159 rebounds (6.1 per game). Christian also had 72 steals (2.8 per game), 46 assists (1.8 per game) and seven blocks.

For Jordan, a 5’6″ senior guard, this is the third year she was named to the All-KSAC Girls’ Basketball squad. She was named to the Third Team as a sophomore and Second Team as a junior.

Jordan averaged 12.2 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists per game this past season.

Keystone’s Bret Wingard was named the Boys’ MVP and Redbank Valley’s Alivia Huffman was named Girls’ MVP.
