You Are Invited To Special Celebration Honoring The Clarion Area Bobcat 2023 PIAA Class-A State Champion Baseball Team This Coming Wednesday (November 8th) Taking Place In The Auditorium And Gymnasium

The Clarion Area Baseball Booster Club has issued a cordial invitation to all fans of Clarion Area Bobcats Baseball, as well as any others around District Nine and beyond who would like to attend, to join in a special celebration of the 2023 Pennsylvania State Athletic Association (PIAA) Class-A State Champions This coming Wednesday (November 8th).

The event will be held at Clarion Area High School on Liberty Street.

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the celebration getting underway in the auditorium at 7:00 p.m.

The Booster Club will provide (and what else could be more appropriate) Popcorn and Cracker Jacks.

The festivities will begin in the auditorium with a special showing of the Championship Game video.

Following the video, Bobcat head coach Rob Jewett with introduce the team and invite the players to the platform, where they will receive Commemorative State Championship Bats.

Then, coach Jewett will have the platform for special comments on the team and this historic season.

Pennsylvania State Representative, Donna Oberlander (63rd District), a Clarion Area grad, will hand out Special Proclamations from the State House to the team.

There may be presentations, etc. to take place as everything is finalized.

The celebration will continue as folks exit the auditorium and head over to the Gymnasium, where the Clarion Area School District will have a final highlight for the Bobcats. Superintendent Joe Carrico will be unveiling the team Photo from the Championship that will hang in the gymnasium and also present the 2023 PIAA Class-A State Championship Trophy which will be placed in the showcases located in the gymnasium foyer.

This very special night will conclude with refreshments provided by CASD and Booster Club (Cupcakes and Cookies).
