Janney Downs C and A Trees, In Clarion Little League Softball Action, On Tuesday (05/27/14)

Janney struck for 4 runs in both the first and second innings and went on to defeat C&A Trees 15-1 in a four-inning Little League softball game Tuesday (May 22) night.

Janney scored 1 in the 3rd and 5 runs in the fourth to set the final. C&A scored their lone tally in the first.

Kaitlyn Constantino went the distance for Janney, throwing four innings, while giving up 3 hits, 0 walks and striking out 10 C&A batters.

Constantino had two hits on the day for Janney. Nikki Shumaker also had 2 hits, including a 3-run home run, while Dorothy Kalinowski singled in the winning effort.

Tori Vega, Ali Girt, and Hailey Sintobin all singled for C&A Trees. Girt and Peyton Simko shared the pitching duties for C&A.
