Bri’s award winning publication is “Clarion Football: The Boys of Fall.” The hardcover, full color book, complete with a full color dust jacket, chronicles the Bobcats 2012 football season. It features photos by Bri and other area sports photographers including Dave Hartley, Cindy Nellis and Eric Elliot and stories from area sportswriters.

This book is of such professional quality, you’d think it was done by a major publishing house.

“CLARION FOOTBALL: The Boys of Fall” follows on the heels of Bri’s Gold Award winning publication from last year, “CLARION FOOTBALL: One Team – One Goal.”

The NHSSPA presents the awards to recognize individuals involved with high school sports publications (sports programs, media guides etc.). There are various categories recognized based on size of school, public or private school and who puts the publication together, students, parents, fans/supporters etc.

Bri’s Gold Award is in the Public School, Student Enrollment: 1-500, Prepared by: Supporters/Fans Category.

Bri, the daughter of Ken and Cindy Nellis of Clarion, is a 2012 graduate of Clarion High School and a student at CUP.

Congratulations Bri, for this fine honor for you and Clarion Area High School!!!
