Bobcat Freshman, Colton Rapp Makes D-9Sports.com Week 2 Honor Roll (09/10/14)

Clarion Area Bobcat freshman running back / linebacker Colton Rapp was named to the D9Sports.com Football Honor Roll for Week 2 of the 2014 season, for his performance in the Cats’ 68-0 victory over Sheffield.

Rapp came up big on both sides of the ball. On offense, he carried the ball 12 times. He amassed 112 yards, while scoring two touchdowns. He also had five tackles for the Bobcat defense.

Dubois senior quarterback Gabe French was named D9Sports.com Player of the Week. French was also the Player of the Week for Week 1.

French threw for 357 yards in the Beavers’ 56-24 victory over Meadville, completing 14 of 19 passes, including five that went for touchdowns, he also had 68 rushing yards.

Other KSAC players on Honor Roll are: Jake Dougherty – Redbank Valley; Cole Morris – Union; Bobby McGranor – Brookville; Collin Dunmyer – Karns City; Josh McBride – Moniteau, Cody Skiver – Moniteau; and Braxton Giavedoni – Punxsutawney.

Other players from around District Nine on the Honor Roll are: Anthony Benson, Braden Martini – Brockway; Nick Stewart – Curwensville; Mitchell Smith – Elk County Catholic; John English – Kane; Seth Drummond – Otto-Eldred; and Ben MacDonald – Ridgway.
