Ian Corbett Named To D9Sports.com Week 1 Football Honor Roll (09/02/14)

Clarion Bobcat running back/linebacker, Ian Corbett has been named to the D9Sports.com Football Honor Roll for Week 1 of the 2014 season, for his performance in the Cats 54-0 win over A-C Valley.

On offense, Corbett had 129 yards rushing, on twelve carries. He scored four touchdowns. Defensively Corbett had 4 tackles and a sack.

The Player of the Week was Dubois quarterback Gabe French for his effort in the Beavers’ 61-38 victory over Mifflin County. He threw for 424 yards, completing 19 of 23 passes. He threw for 7 touchdowns, which ties for second most in a game, in D-9 history. He also ran for 94 yards on 10 carries, scoring another touchdown.
