Liam Raehsler Medals In Prestigious Gold Race At Kutztown, Adam Bettwy Also Competes (09/07/14)

Liam Raehsler and Adam Bettwy of Clarion ran in the prestigious Gold Race at the PTXC6 Invitational held in Kutztown this past Saturday (September 6).

The conditions were hot and humid  in this race that attracts many of the top runners in the state.

Liam medaled by placing 13th out of 170 runners with a time of 16:50.95.

Adam finished 132nd with a time of 19:41.07 in a very competitive field. Most runners were from AAA and AA schools with the winner running the fastest time in the state so far (15:21.37).

Liam ran the second fastest time for a runner from a class A school, losing to Simon Smith of Towanda by only 8 seconds.
