Bobcats Compete At Ridgway Invitational, Raehsler Finishes First (10/05/14)

The Clarion Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams competed in the Ridgway Invitational on Saturday (10/04/14). Coach Rod Raehsler shares this summary:

Liam Raehsler won the Boys Race by nearly thirty seconds on the District IX course with a time of 16:43.60 leading the Bobcats to a sixth place team finish out of fourteen teams. This represents Liam’s second invitational win of the season and he is currently undefeated among District IX runners.

Adam Bettwy finished a strong nineteenth with a time of 18:26.00 followed by Kyle Bettwy, Crowe Theim, Jimmy Smathers, Marshall Powers, and Victor Stahlman. Liam, Adam, Kyle, Crowe, Marshall, and Victor all ran personal bests in this race.

In the Girls’ Race Hannah Frakes finished as the top Bobcat in thirtieth place with a time of 23:12.50 followed by Lili Frakes, Liz Saver, and MacKenzie DiTullio. Clarion did not field enough runners to compile a team score.

Clarion next travels to Karns City this coming Tuesday and hosts the KSAC Championship on October 16.
