Four Lady Cats Named To Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Team (12/05/14)

The Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association has announced its 2014 All-State Team and four members of the Clarion Area Lady Bobcats made the Class A Squad.

Senior Setter, Katie Eustice was named for the second year in a row. She is joined on this year’s team by fellow seniors, Anna McNamara, a right side hitter, outside hitter Jennifer Ochs and junior libero Anna Reed.

The girls were major contributors to Coach Shari Campbell’s KSAC and District Nine Class-A Championship Season. The Lady Cats made it all the way to the PIAA State Semi-Final Game.

Other District Nine Selectees include Elk County Catholic’s Syndie Stauffer and Kristen Wehler, who join the Lady Cat quartet on the Class-A team and Lee Hanes from St. Marys, who made the Class-AA Squad.

 

Maplewood’s Breanna Scott and Madalyn Nichols, from Maplewood and and Morghan Egli from Cochranton, also named to the Class-A Team, round out the area selectees.
