The Thunder joined Union City Ice as co-champs. Both teams were undefeated in their respective pools, but the championship game was rained out and both teams were declared co-champs.

Tri-City was undefeated in pool play and outscored their opponents 36-1 over the weekend. They defeated Saegertown 13-0, where pitcher Montana Hetrick threw a no hitter, beat Erie Frost White 12-0, where pitcher Kaitlyn Constantino threw a no hitter, and defeated Corry Posse 11-1 to finish with an unblemished record in pool play.

The Thunder waited around 3 hours before the championship game was called due to inclement weather. Tri-City’s next tournament will be in late July in Harrison City.

(Congratulations to the Thunder!!!!)
