Bobcats Fall To Moniteau In KSAC Football Crossover Game (10/11/15)

The Clarion Bobcat Varsity traveled to West Sunbury, on Friday (October 9th), for a KSAC crossover game with Moniteau and came away on the short end of a 10-0 score.

The only touchdown of the game came on a 24 yard touchdown run by Warrior quarterback Derek Boben, at 6:29 of the second quarter.

The Warriors’ Steven Fawcett kicked a 30 yard field goal with 5:40 left in the third quarter, setting the final at 10-0 Moniteau.

Josh Kriebel led the Cats with 50 yards rushing. Defensively, five Bobcats registered double-digit tackles: Alex Burkhart (19), Colt Stimmell (15), Brendan Miller (11) and Colton Rapp (11). Stimmell and Corbin Schill each had a sack and Burkhart and Zak Bauer shared a sack.

The Cats will host Union, for Homecoming on Friday (October 16th).
